The herringbone pattern dates back to Roman Empire road construction, early Egyptian jewelry, and Irish fabric from 600 B.C.
In addition to wearing some history, you’ll also be wearing a socially responsible hat. The fabric is 65% recycled wool and 35% recycled fibers. The production process is certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). And sorting the recycled fabrics pre-production is done by women who would otherwise struggle to find employment because of illiteracy.
We spent over a year looking for wool that met our high social, environmental, and quality standards. The result is baaah-some.
